Community Involvement

Here at McClain, Harvey, Vaughn Sonic Group each individual Sonic is part of a community. In these communities we take pride in showing our customers that we care and want to make an impact in our neighborhoods. Our efforts in the schools include anything from creating ways to encourage children to read to fundraisers for Elementary and High School. We sponsor summer reading programs at local libraries with rewards and bookmarks for the best readers.

We are very involved in our local chambers, where we volunteer and attend grand openings. We also help Red Cross chapters to disperse food to the shelters that need some Sonic cheer the most. We make donations, sponsor sports teams, and school functions.

We were there in Biloxi, MS for the celebration in November 2007 when the Biloxi Bridge opened up after Katrina destroyed it.
